Blendtec – The World’s Most Advanced Blender #Recipe

I bet most moms out there have households like mine, where the kitchen has an ordinary blender that may have been received as a gift or raffle prize, which has been tucked away in a cupboard and is rarely used. And aside from the blender, there’s the juicer, grinder, mixer, baby food processor, and many other appliances that are likewise rarely used and just crowding the kitchen cabinets. Don’t we all wish there was one single equipment for them all?

 

The Blendtec Designer Series with the twister jar is a genius product which appeared before I realized that I needed it. I never thought that I’d be wanting to have a blender that I’ll really end up using all the time. 

Batters, smoothies, sherbet, ice cream, soups, spreads, dips, sauces, dressings, marinades, powdered food, baby food, you name it. I’ll never run out of recipes that are all differently prepared but all use just one multi-functional blender. It’s because instead of an ordinary blender’s 1-2-3 intensity buttons, Blendtec uses digital touch control system with blending speed levels for normal blending, a smart blending time display, and very practical Blend Cycle icons for different purposes, which are: Batters/Sauces/Dips/Dressings, Ice Crush/Milkshake, Smoothie, Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt, Whole Juice, and Soups/Syrups/Fondues. These functions really did their job beautifully, that ice can turn into ultra fine snow. My daughter also enjoyed experimenting with the different textures that Blendtec can produce! 

I can’t help but compare Blendtec with ordinary blenders as I write this review. Imagine how hard it is to crush or blend food with and ordinary blender, where it won’t crush in certain areas so you would have to move the unblended portions with the spoon to redistribute the blending. Because if you don’t manually interfere and just keep the highest intensity button on while waiting for everything to completely blend, so much time would be wasted. It was really frustrating but it happened all the time that it already seemed normal. But it’s still not acceptable. 

Blendtec will effortlessly crush anything in just a matter of seconds, without manual interference. It’s because of it’s heavy duty, commercial-grade motor with super high power at 1,560 watts, but it does the job lightning quick, so you’ll still save energy aside from time. It’s like the motor of a heavy industrial equipment was installed in a little compact home appliance. I’m not exaggerating here! 

I’m also impressed that the blades are duller than those of ordinary blenders, which means that I won’t likely cut my finger accidentally. What’s with the dull blades? Well, its the ultra strong motor that makes the ultra fine and super quick blending miracle possible! Force over sharpness. 

 

I recently made my daughter’s favorite purple strawberry banana smoothie where I added some grapes to make it into her favorite color: purple! She loves the pureed consistency, which was smoothier than using other blenders. 

Now, let me tell you about the Blendtec Twister Jar. This one is specially for your thickest and roughest ingredients! This is for making yummy foods that are a bit far from the liquid side. It’s basically like a grinder in the form of a blender. You can make hummus, nut butter, and all kinds of purees for baby food. This Twister is my special jar for my kids. They still get to enjoy the real taste and texture of the food, whether its meat, fruits, veggies, nuts, and everything dense! It also comes with a Spectacula, which you can use for scooping all the blended goodness from the Twister. 

I am so happy that the main four side jar and Twister jars of the Blendtec Designer Series are BPA-free! Perfect for my kids and the whole family. I love its overall sleek design, and the fact that it is so easy to clean. There’s no reason for me to stop using this! I don’t need anything else. Although its price is not cheap, I’m sure this is of better value in terms of time and money than when combining the price of all the ordinary food processors and appliances with separate functions that Blendtec can all do better. 

Blendtec is truly a leader in commercial and home blenders, as well as other food appliances such as kitchen mills, and various programmed food and drink machines. And because it’s commercial quality, and Blendtec is such a big investment, I’m thinking of using this for my daughter’s lemonade-turned-smoothie stand this coming summer. Well, why not?!
