As a mom for 8 years and counting, I never really got used to back-to-school season because I’m always excited! And equally, I still get back-to-school jitters as my kids grow older every year. That’s why I’d love to attend Impressions PR’s enriching back-to-school event and enjoy I did! Here are some awesome and unique finds to share with you all:
Staples Canada
So, where else would any Canadian be when it comes to buying school or office supplies? Staples! Speaking of getting used to back-to-school season, I still couldn’t resist the latest items they have in store. The colorfully yummy Poppin Collection, the new Jansport Superbreak Sticker backpack which is just irresistibly cute and youthful, and a variety of Emoticon magnets and Emoji stuff that would instantly add lively expression to any student’s school life.
Panda Mandarin
My family is of Chinese descent, and I’m well aware of the importance of learning Mandarin. I dare say that it’s the new English in the business world! Okay, it’s the English of China, Taiwan and Singapore but you get the gist, right? And did you know that it’s the most widely spoken language in the world? So if you and your kids are interested in learning a second language, it’s gotta be Mandarin! Panda Mandarin offers trial classes too! You can learn on site or online, and you’ll learn in a really fun way. They’re even giving away $100!
Lice Squad
Reality check: Students that learn together, may also get something together. Including lice. But fear not! Lice Squad got our back. They got Louse Trap Comb, Super Hero Shampoo and Super Hero Enzyme Cleaner which are all-natural and effective. For greater value, the Family Head Live Removal Kit will save the day.
Entripy
When it comes to customizable goods like shirts and novelty items, Entripy is definitely the most school-friendly and has the best quality. Screen print, digital print or embroidery, you name it. They offer school discounts on certain brands and even provide 10% royalty on spirit wear sales for fundraising projects. Sweet! My family is ready to support whatever cause our schools would be having with Entripy.
Kobo
I’m kind of old-fashioned when it comes to how I want to enjoy my favorite books, but I just don’t like the part where the pages eventually yellow, get torn, and worse get wet! Not with Kobo Aura H2O! I saw from my own eyes how it got totally submerged on water but it’s still showing the text bright and clear. And oh, not really “bright” bright, but much like how a books’s paper page should be. No glare, no eyesore. Oooh, I fell in love.
Toronto Public Library
Back-to-school preparation is not just about buying stuff but also about having new experiences! The Toronto Public Library offers plenty of enriching, learning experiences through pop-up learning labs, STEM activities for little kids, and even downloadable picture eBooks and audio books! Well, there are always exciting events at the Toronto Public Library, and we all gotta expose our kids to all things fun and educational!
Well.ca
Bento boxes, snack packs, water tumblers and bottles, lunch bags, and everything cute! Find them all online at Well.ca. Save your feet from getting sore from shopping all day, and feast your eyes on these back-to-school essentials.
Made Good Foods
School-safe food, anyone? Yes please! Made Good granola bars and minis are delightfully organic, gluten-free and allergen-free (particularly free from peanut, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, egg, soy, sesame, fish and shellfish) so you’ll never have to worry about your kid sharing his snacks with his friends. And I must tell you how super yummy these are! You’ll forget it’s healthy!
Mabel’s Labels
This might be a small thing for some, but labelling my kids’ stuff is one of the biggest things I look forward to whenever it’s time for them to go back to school! So yeah, Mabel’s Labels definitely brought out the crazy giddy mom in me and I love it!
Oh, is it still a month before school starts? Then I’m lucky! I’ll get to enjoy the stuff I got from the Impressions PR event before I let my kids start using them for school. 🙂
