The Mega Blocks Build’ n Play Super Stage comes with a full 290 pieces. The main stage has 5 large pieces, mini microphones and instruments, speakers and small televisions.
The set also includes Barbie, and her friends Raquelle and Teresa. Each figure has their own gilttery fashionable outfit and can play any instrument in the band. Your daughter will have hours of fun creating her own version of a pop concert, all from her bedroom.
The stage is quite elaborate for a Mega Blocks set. Instead of just throwing together some random pieces, Mega Blocks gives you your money’s worth with this set. The stage comes with a platform, elevator, 3 block stands, set pieces, scaffolding, blocks and stairs, a television camera and a backstage area. My daughter likes to rearrange her set pieces all the time so that there’s some variety in her Barbie concerts. Her creativity can wander as she builds and takes apart the set time and time again. She never tires of playing with this set as there is so much to it.
I haven’t even gotten to the best part of the Build’ n Play Super Star Stage set. There are two different options to choose from when it comes to having the sound on and playing music. This set comes with multi-color lights and four different songs that your daughter can change between. The second option lets your daughter choose the music. Barbie and her band can perform for hours with your daughter at either of these options. I’m sure after a bit of playing, your daughter will be singing Barbie’s songs all day. The Super Star Stage does require 3 AAA batteries that are not included so make sure to pick some up before you head home with it.
This set can be combined with other Mega Blocks Barbie sets to create a Mega Barbie playworld. Since this set comes with small pieces is recommended for ages 4 and up.
