Colds and flu, allergies and general booger filled kid moments (we all know that’s what the territory comes with in kids) combined with the cold conditions in Canada has led me to be a full on fighter in the war against boogies. Snot is not my friend and in times past it used to be the biggest battle (often leading to screaming and tears) to just wipe down my kids’ noses.
I have written about this before and just before the crazy dead of winter sets in I would love to remind all of you about the super stunning Boogie Wipes. Before I introduced this range to my kids roughly two years ago, I was one of those who were not the biggest of believers. It might have been just another one of those products that claimed to be great, but ended up dying down quietly somewhere remote and forgotten. This is far from the truth though. My family has been using this stuff like crazy throughout the last two winters and we don’t plan on abandoning our stash soon. Friends we finally have a valid weapon against the much dreaded boogers that is still changing lives and enriching those it comes into contact with. We have gone from my kids running away at the sight of me approaching them to wipe their noses, to them actually liking it and even trying it themselves. It isn’t only for kids though, my whole family uses it, and I have to say its sheer genius. I no longer live in fear when the winter season approaches because I know I have got a weapon for the boogie monster.
The ranges from Boogie Wipes are all made with saline which dissolves mucus. They can get the work done with just one wipe, compared to the 4 or 5 efforts with TP it would usually require to get something accomplished. The wipes are super soft and they also have unscented wipes which are great for the super-sensitive snouts. Their products are recommended by pediatricians as an alternative to dry tissue wiping, which often causes irritation and redness, and they are also alcohol, phthalate and paraben free. I’d like to once again remind you that there is a solution that cleans kid’s noses (anyone who has got a case of the boogies really) while moisturizing at the same time.
We always keep stock of the 90 Count Fresh Scent Canisters. I was impressed with the fact that it had a re-sealable lid that easily popped open and the packaging was also very attractive. The wipes are easy to pull out and the grape flavors on these wipes were incredible! My daughter loved the smell so much she kept telling me she had some more stuck in there and we needed another wipe!
We also use the on-the-go packets of 30 count boogie wipes which are very convenient for throwing into your bag and taking precautionary measures with you whenever your travel.
