If there’s a character that any kid, girl or boy, would never get tired of collecting, it has got to be the Minions! And it’s even more thrilling to collect them as surprise eggs this coming Easter. So when I got a hold of a full box of Choco Treasure Minions, I couldn’t contain my excitement for my kids. Easter is just a few weeks away but as a parent of two Minion fans I couldn’t wait any longer! And besides, I gotta write about these despicable Choco Treasures for my reader Minion fans whom I know are not so few!
Each of the Choco Treasure Minions comes in a pretty blue Minion box with a window on one side to show the egg inside, and it makes it look so nice to give away as Easter gift in singles. The egg inside is wrapped in the same blue foil wrapper with a Minion character. And when you unwrap the foil, the yummy Swiss milk chocolate is ready for munching! And inside the chocolate is the super cute egg casing with Minion-inspired colours of blue and yellow. So the box, egg wrapper, chocolate, egg casing, and finally the surprise toy — that’s a total of five surprise layers!
There are a total of 18 different surprises to collect. And the full tray we have contains 12 individual Choco Treasure Minion boxes. Each surprise varies in different kinds: toy figures of different Minion character images inspired from the Minions Movie, 3D puzzles of cute Minion scenes, round magnets, sticker pads, picture puzzles, and even a full deck of mini Minion-designed playing cards! Oh, we can never have enough Minions stuff to collect.
Some of the cute toy figures of these irresistible minions include the caveman, eskimo, pirate, jungle, Egyptian, and Hawaiian to name a few. While some 3D puzzle scenes feature the minions in places they’ve been to in the Minions movie like Orlando, London and the Antarctic. My daughter loves assembling 3D puzzles and after she proudly does them they can be displayed or played with. While my son enjoys playing with slap bracelets because he’s amazed by how it works.
There are Choco Treasure surprises for me too: magnets and playing cards! And of course, the chocolates are for all of us to share! But my kids and I agreed that we wouldn’t devour them all at once. We can use them for making yummy chocolate desserts like chocolate dip for cookies and fruits. I also love the blue and yellow design of the egg casing because it’s unlike the usual egg casings in single colour. I can pretty much use them again for putting in new surprises. My kids and I couldn’t wait for Easter so we could finally open all our Choco Treasures!
And for more fun and variety, there are also new Choco Treasure finds licensed from Hello Kitty and Kung Fu Panda 3. It’s so exciting to have a great variety of Choco Treasures for Easter because the more, the merrier! And it’s affordable too, for just $1 to $1.99 each.
I can see these being a big hit!!
