I received two products from Coccon Apothecary and it has been my greatest delight to experience them. I got the Cocoon Apothecary Skin Care starter Kit and Ancient Mud Facial Mask. In this review, I’ll be telling you about its ingredients and how they are good for the skin. Personally, I’ve become quite a fan of these products for its natural ingredients and the benefits I received from them during my use.
Cocoon Apothecary Skin Care Starter Kit
The kit includes travel sized skin care products that will make up your basic skin care regimen.
It specifically includes:
• Petal Purity Facial Cleanser (20 ml). When I got my hands on the Petal Purity Facial Cleanser which is included in every Cocoon Apothecary Skin Care Starter Kit, I was very pleased to know it was a cream cleanser. Unlike liquid cleansers, a cream cleanser is more effective in removing grime and sebum on the skin without stripping the skin away of its natural oils. However, this cream cleanser beat all my expectations because of its heightened moisturizing capabilities. The cleanser is mainly composed of geranium and lavender combined with almond and coconut – a perfect cleansing and moisturizing formula. The skin does not become coarse and dry after usage. Rather, it made my skin feel fresh, clean and moisturized.
• Rose Dew Facial Toner (20 ml). I’ve always found toners available in the market harsh for my skin because most of these toners contain alcohol. The Rose Dew Facial Toner fit magnificently on my skin because it does not contain a single drop of alcohol in it. The toner is formulated with powerful anti-oxidants which can be absorbed by the skin making it hydrated. The organic hydrosols of rose and witch hazel was combined to make a toner gentle on the skin and tightens and purifies the pores to prepare it for moisturizing.
• Rosey Cheeks Facial Cream (20 ml). Last but definitely not the least, the Rosey Cheeks Facial Cream is the cherry on top of the Cocoon Apothecary Skin Care Starter Kit. I love trying new skincare products and it sounds like this one really works to remove excess oil from pores but doesn’t leave the skin feeling tight and dry like some cleanser tend to do.
