Colour Me Cape by Great Pretenders Review and Giveaway

Whose little girl does not love crowns, fairies and colors?  Let’s face it, we parents always influence our children to play games or do activities we think appropriate for their genders and ages. Moms of course, let their girls play with dolls and princesses. We believed, girls must play games and do activities related to princesses and fairies or sort of girlie like activities. 

Recently, we received the Great Pretenders new product, the Colour Me Cape – Fairy. It’s a cape with fairy and fairy’s related icons like crown, wand, flowers, leaves and branches of trees, butterflies and hearts shape designs. It is made of purple satin cut to design as cape with Velcro closure at the neck. The cape was designed to be colored, so the package includes 8 washable markers for its use.  

This cape is perfect for your girls to play and color with. They can put their imagination and creativity on this cape; how each of the design on the cape looks like and colors it with their favorite coloring markers. This is where your girls can put and focus their active mind and hands while playing fairy pretend at the same time. Of course as a mom, you can join them as the fairy godmother. Because this is washable your can do it all over again and color it differently, it save money because you can always recycle it again. 

My daughter loves it very much. She played with it with gusto. The enjoyment she feels every time she finished coloring one and like it, is very rewarding as a mom, it’s priceless. There is no worry that she cannot color it perfectly. This is where she can practice her hands skill and how to hold it still to color the design as much as she can, as good as she can. Of course, afterwards she can put it on and play the role of a fairy with you.

Of course, the cape can also be use as a costume for your girls to attend school costume party, and other occasion that requires costumes like kids’ birthdays and church activities. I definitely recommend this for all moms with little girls out there. This is another activity that you can do together with your child or children (sometimes my boy would like to do some coloring too).
