French Toast is a leading maker of quality school uniforms, but did you know they have great apparel items for washday too? But they’re not just great for casual wear in school, of course. They’re also great to wear anywhere outside school and my son proves it.
First, we got a nice pair of toddler slim-fit jeans for boys. The colour and washing of the jeans looks simple and pleasant, I mean not overly faded but just very subtly, making my kid look smart and formal-ish even on casual outfitting. And while it’s very much simple but not too plain, it’s also open for repurposing if you’re an experimental mom who would love to add some ruggedness like tatters and fade-washing, but personally I love it as it is. The beauty of it is that no one will know that this pair he’s wearing now was the same that he wore yesterday. It’s like a little black dress for jeans. It can be paired with semi-formal tops and make my prince look like a little ramp model, or with very casual tops but still won’t make him look too dressed down. And the slim fit makes it look like it’s tailor-made for a child!
We also got a short-sleeve graphic crew tee for boys. It’s a casual cotton jersey in a textured light red colour (I don’t know what to exactly call it, but it’s not a solid red and I love it!), and a number 89 print in varsity outline font. I love it because it’s very soft, great to wear in the summer, feels light and fresh when worn. The design is very simple but stylish, making my kid look like a little grownup high school heartthrob even if he isn’t one yet. But if you check out other the graphic tee designs on the French Toast website, they have cute playful designs too. My son already has too many kiddie tee designs so we’re happy with our varsity-ish shirt! And did I mention they’re so soft and comfy?
A good school uniform needs to be highly durable to last the whole school year, or even a lifetime so that they can be appropriately passed on to the original owner’s siblings. And the casual clothes we got from French Toast are no exception even if they’re not meant to be worn as a school uniform.
If your kid wears school uniforms made by French Toast, and if you’re happy with that investment (I’m sure), then it’s a no-brainer to get your kid the same brand for quality casual wear. I must stress that French Toast didn’t just do great on quality and durability, but on style as well. Just look at the fun designs of their casual clothing pieces to see what I mean!
