Dede’e Mediterranean cooking and spice website makes me nostalgic for Middle East food. I remember those days when I used to visit some of the Middle East countries. Out of top most things I enjoyed there, food and special dishes stands on the crown of the list. When I had a chance to review one of their spices, I chose the seven spices and gave it a try. The results were exorbitant. When I opened the bottle aroma of different spices filled the room. I was perplexed, sometimes it seems to be ginger, sometimes garlic and in the next moment it was like traditional spices used in Middle East food dishes.

At last after an hour of searching and whirling between scrumptious video recipes I decided to try one of the mouth watering recipes and decided to share it with you.
As being a diehard fan of chicken I decided to opt for a simple chicken sandwich recipe. here we go,
Chicken shwarma recipe sandwich:
Preparation time: 12-15 minutes
Serves: 4-5
Ingredients:
Mediterranean Greek yogurt: 1/4 cup
Thins strips of chicken breast: 2
Lemon juice: 1/4 cup
Dede’s seven spice: 1/4 tab spoon
Minced garlic: 1 table spoon
Salt: 1 t-spoon
Ground cardamom: 1/4 t-spoon
Paprika: 1/4 t-spoon
Dried parsley: 1/4 t-spoon
Cinnamon: 1/8 t-spoon
Cayenne pepper: 1/8 t-spoon
Olive oil: 3 table spoons
Pita, kabees, pickles and garlic for sandwich
Recipe:
Marinate all the ingredients for about 2hours, after that fry chicken strips in a pan until they turn brown. Take pita bread place chicken, garlic paste, tomatoes and lettuce (if desired) and roll the bread. Press it in grill press to add crunch and crispiness for about 3 minutes.
This easy and ready to cook recipe was a kind of fun for me. It was light and easily digestible. Another plus point associated with the recipe was that my daughter loved it. And I myself do not hesitate even for once to give her this scrumptious sandwich provided its nutritious and healthy effect on her body. I must say dede’s seven spices made my day.
