What happens when you combine a renowned toy manufacturing company and a highest-grossing animated film? Well, you get the best line of games ever. Hasbro has joined the Despicable Me bandwagon and released several games in time for the Despicable Me 2 movie. Who wouldn’t love the ever-popular minions in the movie, right? Everyone, no matter what age or gender would definitely fall in love with those adorable little minions. My family is not new to that. We just love the minions especially my daughter. So this line from Hasbro has been a hit for us. I’m sure everyone else in the world would love this too.
As a bonus, when you purchase a Despicable Me 2 game from Hasbro, it includes exclusive minions. There are 50 different minions out there to collect! It is definitely exciting! The idea of getting an exclusive minion also pushed me to buy these products. I was so excited to receive two Hasbro games based on the new Despicable Me 2 movie and I love both of them. I got the classic games of Monopoly and Operation with the Minion versions. My family really enjoys those two board games. These are fun family activities that we can do during weekends and game night.
Monopoly and Despicable Me 2
This Monopoly with a twist is highly enjoyable, not to mention the minions are just too adorable. It’s not your classic Monopoly that deals with dollars and other properties that only bigger kids would enjoy. It also adapted terms from the movies. Instead of dollars you get Banana bucks, you also have a spinning Minion in replace of the dice. You will never get bored with this version of Monopoly. This Despicable Me 2 Monopoly is appealing to even the younger kids. So for sure, your entire family would enjoy it.
Operation and Despicable Me 2
Aside from Monopoly, I also got Operation, another classic game. This is highly educational, as my kids will learn basic anatomy while testing their focus too. This game is to develop EQ because you have to be careful not to hit the buzzer. A unique facet in operation is that you will be operating on a minion, Stuart. It is more attractive and creative than the older version of Operation. For sure, kids will be more encouraged to get this because of the minion. You get to see what is inside his body and help remove cool and fun foreign objects inside his body. It is definitely a skill game!
Aside from these two games, there are other Hasbro and Despicable Me 2 games that the family would enjoy. It is in their website or you can find it this link.
