We were invited to the Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival Show at Sony Centre in toronto last Saturday. We just watched the Disney on ice! Treasure Trove recently with our kids and Disney shows are always impressed us with its quality and entertaining elements. We were also very lucky to be moved forward, sat closer to the stage and watched the show more clearly. From start to finish the show was engaging and kept our family entertained with all the popular Disney stars from Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck as well as the additional characters the Little Mermaid, Toy Story, and Aladdin popping in for some musical fun.
Each Disney character kept the kids engaged throughout the show with high-energy, upbeat music from reggae, rock, hip-hop, pop, country to swing music. Mickey and his Disney friends embarked on a talent search, while journeying through the show they met along the way a few familiar characters. Each story provided the children with brightly colored sets, beautiful bright costumes, singing, and dancing. During the Live Mickey’s Music Festival Show, the whole audience participated with shouting out answers to questions asked by Mickey while jumping out of their seats to learn a dance with Jessie and Woody from Toy story that the children enjoyed the most.
Aladdin amazed everyone with his acrobatic flips while Princess Jasmine ever so elegantly flew around with genie and their magic carpet retelling their story in a wondrous mystical way for all to enjoy. The Little Mermaid and her sisters with Sebastian provided a story of Ariel wanting to be a human so she could be with her loved Prince Eric. In between, each act they provided short intermissions that worked out well perfectly for children of all ages keeping them entertained all the time.
The complete show was about 90 minutes long, with the included short 15-minute intermissions providing parents with enough time to take the children on a break. The ending of the Disney Live Mickey’s Music Festival Show brought all the characters on the stage singing a last song to end the show with a climax for all to enjoy. The show impressed all, and Disney covered all entertainment keeping the kids singing, jumping, and enjoying the entire show.
