What could possibly be better than slathering yourself in lotion that makes you smell like salted caramel apricot? Getting said lotion at an awesome discount, that’s what.
We all know the unspeakable joys that await us at Bath and Body Works. We’ve seen those cheap knock-off brands, and many of us have succumbed to the temptation of purchasing cheap body products. They might smell OK, but they don’t smell as good, and they certainly don’t last as long. Sure, you’ll smell like sweet pea for five minutes, but as soon as you get out into the elements, you’ll wish that you had sprung for the real deal.
But the real deal can sometimes break the bank, especially if you’re using these products daily. So how do you find deals that will make your favorite Bath and Body Works products affordable? I’ve got some tips for you.
Don’t be stingy with your info
Yes, I realize you’re in a hurry when you’re at the mall and you just don’t feel like giving the cashier your personal information. But, plan a few extra minutes into your next trip to Bath and Body Works to give the cashier your email and phone number. Remember: They want to send you free stuff. Free stuff is good.
Cyber-stalk your favorite brands
Check out all their social media outlets to see if they are offering special deals on their pages. Sometimes, the promotions that are offered via social media are different than the ones you get in an email, so you want to make sure that you take advantage of every opportunity.
Shop smart
Make sure you are hitting the site or the store at the right time. Bath and Body Works is well known for routinely offering crazy great deals, and you want to make sure that you don’t miss out. Instead of waiting until you run out of a product, strike while the deal is hot and stock up on enough to get you through the next several months. Not only will it save you from extraneous mall trips (hooray!), but it could also save you a ton of money in the end.
Coupon sites are your friends
There are plenty of sites to help you in your coupon conquest, so what keeps people from using them? Some people just don’t know how they work. Or maybe they don’t think they work at all, or that they’re too time-consuming. Well, I’ve done the legwork for you, and I can attest that there are deals to be had on these sites, and the deals can be yours with minimal effort. And to prove it, I’m going to take you through a step-by-step guide on how to score an awesome deal at Bath and Body Works through the discount site, Dealspotr:
First, go to dealspotr.com and type in your brand of choice in to the search engine. I typed in Bath and Body works, and was brought to a page that has a list of promo codes, coupons and sales specifically for that brand. That day, Dealspotr picked up on deals such as: 20% off both online and in store purchases, 25% off Amazon purchases, free shipping on orders over $25, $10 off $30, and buy 2 get 2 free on aromatherapy products. The site also shows you the likelihood of the deal’s success as well as the validation status, meaning that somebody tested it and had successful results. Some of the deals are store-or-site wide sales, and don’t require a promotional code. If you only want to focus on promo codes, you can filter the coupons by type.
I wanted to test a 20% off deal, so I clicked on the “show promo code” prompt for that offer. I ended up on a page that instructed me to copy my code to get the deal. I copied it, the site verified that it had been copied, and it gave me the option of using the deal on the company’s website. That’s what I wanted to do, so I clicked “go there now”, and was directed to the Bath and Body Works site. I added a Pumpkin Pecan Waffles candle to my cart, because I can’t think of anything I would rather my house smell like. I went to check out, and the total price in my cart was $12.50. I simply pasted the code I had previously copied into the promotional code box, pressed “apply”, and Voilà! My total was updated showing a 20% discount, which knocked $2.50 off of the price. Not bad for a couple minutes’ work.
And, speaking of not wanting to work to find deals, Dealspotr remembers your favorite brands when you create an account with them. That means you can effortlessly stay up to date on deals if you’re not the kind of person who likes hunting for the best prices (I’m not).
So, all in all, Dealspotr gave me an awesome, straightforward experience. They’ve provided the masses with an easy and effective way to save money on quality brands. Plus, you can earn points for sharing deals and referring friends, family and followers. And, that makes them OK in my book.
