Childhood is the peak (and probably most uninhibited) period of play adventure, and I’m not stopping it from happening to my kids. The Matsi is a block-striped long-sleeve soft jersey tee, with solid colour elbow patches. The product model name for “Matsi” is a Finnish translation for Matthew. We have the blue and green striped “jungle/nautic”, and the “lime/storm” in yellow and gray. Its material has SPF 50+ too! For very functional, timelessly designed, and high-quality outfits like these, I make sure to always choose unisex styles so that my little boy can use them like new when he grows up. We also got Varjella, which is a light pirate sou’wester in blue “nautic/storm” and yellow “lime/storm” colours. The Finnish word “varjella” means “to protect”. From how it exactly looks and means, a sou’wester is what you call a collapsible rain hat with an extended neck brim meant to protect the back of the neck from rain or sunburn. It’s very useful in the rain and during hot sunny days, and it makes kids instantly look cuter! The Varjella sou’wester is made of quick-drying cotton that is water-repellent and stain-resistant, and has SPF 50+. It’s adjustable around the crown, where you can tie a knot or ribbon behind the head or on the sides.
