I really think cloth diapers help save both money and the environment. I’ve used them for my eldest and came with good results. This time, I know I’m up to even better results with gDiapers. They are a diaper company that specializes on safe, functional and stylish cloth diapering experience. Its founder Jason and Kim Graham-Nye gave life gDiapers back in 2005. They wanted to have a more eco-friendly cloth diapers that perform its use of keeping baby dry. gDiapers are biodegradable which means it’s not like ordinary diapers that take hundred of years to decompose. They won’t contribute to the increasing pile of diapers that pollute landfills and the Earth. That is cloth diapering at its best with a bonus of bettering the world for the next generation.

For this review, I got little gPants, tiny gPants and biodegradable gRefills which I’ll be sharing one by one as we go along. gDiapers are cloth diapers that are reusable and are really adorable. They have the gPants which are comfortable baby diaper covers that uses gRefills. (We’ll get to the gRefills later.) Little gPants comes in so many colors and designs or gStyles. Recently, a new line of designs were launched and I was lucky enough to receive the ones in gallant stripes and the gentle traupe. The first one had stripes with really nice shades of colors, while the other was a plain neutral brown color. I am certain that both will surely look good on my baby boy. Each piece of the Little gPants is available in 5 sizes— best for babies from newborn to toddlers. They are made of 92% cotton and 8% spandex and are breathable. Thanks to the gBreathe technology in them, they are absolutely comfy that let’s baby’s skin breathe and prevents rashes and irritations to build up.

It has stretchable waistline that are non-restrictive of baby’s movements. There are Velcro snaps at each side which can be closed when washed to avoid anything being stuck in it. They securely and perfectly fit baby’s bum preventing leakages and bulks while it is worn. Inside, there is a waterproof pouch where gRefills are placed. It is snapped in on each corner. It may look too small for a gRefill to fit in but, this is not so. gRefills may appear too big only because it will occupy the whole compressed pouch.

I also got the biodegradable gRefills along with the gPants. Disposable gRefills are used only once and is made of cellulose and super absorbers. Since it is 100% biodegradable and free of plastic, latex, perfume or elemental chlorine, they can be disposed composted at home, tossed to a trash bin or even flushed in a toilet. This is done by ripping the side of the gRefill, throwing the contents in the toilet, stir using the swish stick included, then flush away.

The tiny gPants are somewhat similar to the little gPants. Only, Tiny gPants are the newborn-size version. It comes in pure white color and is perfect for newborns’ small and fragile bodies. They have snaps, too, and nice leg trims. The front part is lowered so as to give an open area for the umbilical cord to heal unhindered. It is best bought in a set which is the gBaby Bundle. It’s like a starter kit and a good way to start your newborn for the gDiapering experience.

gDiapers is certified by the Cradle to Cradle and the only diaper brand to receive so. They earned it for having met 19 human and health criteria. They are recognized for giving back to Mother Earth by making their products biodegradable and proven to be harmless to the environment. No wonder I like them a lot. They, too, love Nature as much as I do which is one of the reasons I always choose eco-friendly baby goodies. The designs, fabrics and features of the gDiaper products are really amazing and I can’t wait to let my baby try them. Visit their website for more of gDiaper products and promos.
