I have two amazing kids and goodness me the things they can do in a day! I sometimes look at them and tell myself they could one day end up being great discoverers. Their curiosity will always get the better of them. The glow that shines on their faces when they find a new way to doing something totally leaves me all excited. The other day, I discovered an exciting way of keeping them busy while having loads of fun.
I got my kids the Expedition Dino. I would totally recommend this to anyone with a kid of 4 years and above. In fact if your kid’s birthday is coming up soon, this would make just the perfect gift. With Expedition Dino, my daughter got herself a new friend called Tim who actually is a dinosaur and a great explorer. Tim has taken over the life of my daughter and since then all my daughter keeps talking about is Tim and their great escapades. If you hear her talk about Tim you would think that Tim is another boy and not a dinosaur. So together they search for the traces of a prehistoric giant. Being the great explorers they are, they are armed with a hammer as well as a chisel. These tools help them excavate petrified bones from the rocks. She gets so excited whenever they get the old bones of the prehistoric giant.
Watching her play is so exciting I actually felt part of the team. And the fun gets way heated when my daughter and Tim realize there is a dangerous dinosaur hiding in between the block of rocks. Being a stumbling block to attaining their goal, they strive so hard to defeat the dangerous dinosaur.
My younger son is 2 year and a half and he got the Digging Claw. This is the perfect accompaniment for any one or two year old. This is because at this age kids are hyper active and all over the place and getting them to focus can be nerve wrecking. I can’t thank HABA enough for bringing up these new ways of keeping the boys busy. My house has so much sanity now days.
My son thinks he is a baby dinosaur with his new Digging Claw. We live near a sand park and digging the in the sand has been our business lately. We get to play together and it is so much fun. With our digging claw up in hand, we go digging tones of holes in the search of a dinosaur. What my son finds even more exciting is the design of the Digging Claw. It looks like a dinosaur-guess that is why he always keeps roaring and imagining he is a baby dinosaur. The other day my husband hid things in the sand before they went playing. Digging and discovering them got all excited and feeling great. Now l have to do that every other time before setting out to play.
Nothing is more exciting as these two great games. My neighbour’s kids actually had to stay up till late in our house as they just couldn’t let go. I no longer have to worry where the kids could be and what mischief they could be up to.
