My daughter is an absolute girly girl when it comes to purses, I usually have to keep mine hidden as she loves them so much. She is also always carrying around stuffed animals, so when I came across this Poochie & Co. Puppy Purse I knew it would be perfect for her.
This pretty pooch is a lifesaver, as now I don’t have to worry about mine going missing. Another plus is that I am not finding stuffed animals all over my house anymore. This poochie comes in a variety of colors; We were sent an Apricot Orange one and I just simply love it because there is way too much pink around my house.
Once it arrived in the mail my daughter fell in love with the pup. This cute little puppy is the perfect size for her measuring 12 inches high by 9 inches long and has cute little bows on her ears that match the color of the sequins on the body. The orange is magnificent and reminds me of fall; it is so bright and beautiful. My little girl carries this puppy everywhere with her and always has a variety of toys like her play cell phone inside the zipper pouch. This puppy is withstanding lots of use from my 5 year old and looks like it is going to hold up very nicely.
The collar is removable; however the purse strap is not. This could make washing it a little difficult, I suggest spot cleaning or hand washing and line drying. I have washed her in the sink with a mild detergent and she dried up just fine. Now, since she rarely sets this puppy down I decided I could try to incorporate it into her Halloween costume this year. After reviewing all of our options and getting her opinion we decided to dress her up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and her puppy purse can mimic Toto, Dorothy’s little dog. It’s such a cute idea but the only downside is the purse only holds a few smaller items, so it cannot be used to hold the candy she gets while trick or treating. We decided to use a small picnic basket for candy, just like the one Dorothy carries in the movie. There are a few other costume ideas you can use for Halloween with this adorable puppy purse such as a veterinarian or a dog trainer.
With all the color options this dog comes in the options are endless, which also makes buying for more than one little girl is a breeze. Simply get one for each child in her favorite color. Carrying a stuffed poochie around trick or treating is going to be much easier than bringing your family pet along. A few other costume ideas would be clown and clown puppy or cheerleader and mascot. You can find little hats in the pet isle at your local store or let your child make something using the art supplies you have around the house. Use your imagination or let your child use theirs to create a fun Halloween experience with their new favorite toy!
