LEGO DUPLO Princess Snow White’s Cottage & My First Farm Review

If you have kids ages 2-5, letting them play with blocks are highly recommended. It boosts their creativity, imagination and hand grips. But sometimes, blocks are too small for their little hands and can be dangerous because it can cause choking for young ones. This is when LEGO DUPLO should be best chosen. They are chunky and very ideal for kids who have to deal with LEGO blocks for the first time in their childhood. They are easy to hold, easy to put together and especially designed for their age brackets.

For this review, I want to go through the LEGO Duplo Princess Snow White’s Cottage. This one is for the girly preschoolers out there and for Snow White fanatics, of course. This set has 28 pieces including Snow White herself, a bunny, chairs, a bowl of apples, a window and the Duplo bricks. Little girls can have fun making their own versions of the cottage or the tree. They can freely build whatever they please. Since LEGO is now working with Disney, other Disney Princesses included in the LEGO Duplo are also available. Each piece of every set can very much fit just right and can be played altogether.

Also, Snow White’s skirt is removable and can be worn by other Disney Princesses from other sets sold separately. This definitely encourages a somewhat dress-up time with the Disney lovelies while the girls are at play. Kids will have hours of playtime with their girl pals with every set.

Next set can be for boys and can be played by girls, too. It’s the LEGO Duplo My First Farm. I highly recommend this for kids who really love animals, specifically farm animals. The set includes fences, a chicken, a cow, a pig, a sheep, a tractor, a farmer with a pitchfork along with assorted Duplo bricks. All in all, there are 62 pieces in the box and kids can also use the bricks to build their own version of a barn where the fences can be put alongside with it. Each piece is really adorable and attractive for young kids. They will surely love these especially if they are a big animal-lover.

LEGO Duplo sets are safe and perfect for toddlers and above because of its ideal size and colors for imaginative play. Even my daughter loved playing with them for hours and still wanted to play the next day. It’s one great play tool for introducing open-ended play to young minds and kids won’t get tired of getting their hands on these bricks just like my own little angel.
