L.O.L. Surprise is a fun new collectible craze that is taking over.
L.O.L. stands for Li’l Outrageous Littles, and it sure is an apt name for this fun new toy.
Among the layers that you unwrap, and there are quite a few of them, there are hints toward what that special surprise might be in the middle. And after getting through all those layers, you will uncover a fun toy or trinket to enjoy! So in essence, while it’s a fun toy at the middle, it is also a bit of a guessing game along the way to try to discover what it is your surprise might be.
Each L.O.L. Surprise has 3 to 7 fun layers to unwrap. Each layer is going to give you a hint as to what that surprise at the center might actually be. These hints could be anything from secret messages, to tattoos, to stickers and accessories that make the process as much fun as the toy itself at the center.
This is sure to be a ton of fun for kids of all ages, or even an adult who is an avid toy collector as well. There are over 80 in all, which means there are a lot to collect and trade as well!
There are a couple of different types within the L.O.L. Surprise line, and each one is a little different.
L.O.L. Surprise Tots
Of the few in the line that I got to test and try out, this was the biggest of the three. This one has a whole 7 layers of fun and excitement to unwrap, and the process of unwrapping this neat little trinket was almost more fun than getting to the toy itself. All along the way, there were hints as to what specific little doll friend might be in the middle.
And as an added little bonus, the ball doubles as a holder to keep your new friend and all of her accessories together, as well as a fun little playset.
L.O.L. Surprise Little Sisters
This one is a bit smaller, so there were only 5 layers to unwrap, but it was still just as much fun unwrapping the layers and getting to the hidden surprise in the middle. Each layer included a hint toward which of the Little Sisters might be in the middle for you to collect and enjoy. And then, once you have uncovered your new little baby, give them a nice bath and discover even more surprises. And once again, the ball doubles as a container to keep your new friend in.
L.O.L. Surprise Charm Fizz
These are a bit smaller, so there are only 3 layers of hints for you to unwrap. But once you get through those three layers, you need to drop the whole ball into the bath, and it will fizz up as a fun little bath bomb that will uncover your surprises while you take a nice bath.
Inside the nifty little bath bomb is a fun little trinket charm that you could use for a variety of things, from putting together a fun charm bracelet on your own, or attaching to zippers on coats and backpacks, to using them as additional accessories for your L.O.L. Surprise friends that you unwrap from other balls that you have collected!
These are sure to be a definite hit with the little ones in your life. They are available at places like WalMart, Toys’R’Us and other toy retailers all over the country, so no matter where you live, you should be able to find these at your favorite store.
There’s even an app to go along with them, so no matter what kind of smart phone or device you have, you can download the app to extend the experience. The app is available for iOS, android and Amazon devices. In the app you can keep track of which friends you have already collected and which ones you are still on the hunt for, too.
The company also makes a series of pets, a glitter series, and even some giant sized surprise balls to unwrap. Go out and collect as many as you can.
