When I received these Loo-Hoo Wool Dryer Balls in the mail for a review I was excited. I had overheard people at work talking about wool dryer balls as an alternative but I had never seen them before. These wool dryer balls worked. I enjoyed the results that I saw in my clothes.
Wool dryer balls can be used to in any dryer and depending on the make and model of your dryer, they decrease drying time by 10 to 25 per cent, saving energy and money. They are best used with natural fibers and help decrease wrinkles = less time ironing and there is no static. Wool dryer balls are safe for people with sensitive skin (works well with cloth diapers) and you can add a few drops of an essential oil for scent. The LooHoo wool dryer ball is nice because it does not harbour bacteria and is safe for people with sensitive skin. It is a natural alternative to using commercial dryer sheets. Adding essential oil to your set of dryer balls would give your clothes the scent you desire. Each ball weights an average of 2 oz and all three balls are to be used together in each laundry load. The balls work together to share the moisture absorption levels, work in tandem to rotate your clothes providing better air circulation in the dryer cavity and because of the balls soft density their efficiency lasts longer. They do work on all types of dryers but the size of the laundry load, model, and make of machine will determine the degree of efficiency. A newer machine will have better efficiency performance overall. But you can reduce drying time by 10-25 per cent even with an older dryer model.

A classic 5-pack of LooHoo;s is $46.25 and 5 are good for a medium load of laundry. They will last for hundreds of loads, may show signs of wear but would still be usable. LooHoo recommends that you purchase a refresher pack at about 4 months. I have noticed that my clothes had no static. There were no damp spots and less wrinkles in the clothes upon a complete drying cycle. They do everything that they state they do. They are on the pricey side but you are putting less toxins in the clothing your children wear and saving on your hydro bill.
