As a busy mom, I am always looking to accessorize with comfort and convenience. For me a pocketbook or tote needs to be sturdy enough and big enough to carry not only my own every day paraphernalia, but everything that my children just “can’t leave home without”. What I need is a duffle bag!

Thankfully, though, I was sent a bag that checks off every box on my wish list. The Rachel Ombre Tote by Pixiemood. This polyurethane tote is roomy enough to hold everything that I need, but still manages to keep its look of both femininity and strength. The feel is soft and leathery, but strong and durable. The handles are double sewn onto the sides of the bag which gives me the confidence to carry almost anything my kids can throw in!

The Rachel Ombre Tote by Pixiemood offers special features that bring it right to the top of my list of “must haves”. I love that it comes with a separate, smaller bag that clips to the inside of the tote. It is a pocketbook inside the tote that I can use to help me organize the items that I need, while leaving room on the outside of it for larger things.

In addition, the smaller bag can be removed from the tote and used as a crossover. Though smaller than the tote, it is still roomy enough on the inside to hold everything I need. So I don’t have to leave anything behind when I wear the crossover in order to keep my hands free. The strap is long enough to stretch across my body and hold the bag safely at my side. It gives me an added sense of security in that a crossover bag is typically more difficult for someone to grab than are other types of pocketbooks. It zips across the top to protect my belongings from spilling out, and it is made of the same polyurethane material as the tote, which makes them both durable and long lasting. However, under certain conditions polyurethane will tear, so that’s something to keep in mind.

Both the tote and the crossover bag are easy to care for. I just wipe them clean with a damp cloth and they look like new. Moreover, I can find at least a hundred different uses for my tote bag by itself. It is versatile enough to use as a shopping bag, a gym bag, even a carry on for vacation. It can be used as a work bag to hold notebooks, paperwork, or other work supplies. I can use it as a craft bag, or even as a beach bag. I can use it to carry absolutely anything I need. I can use it for work today, tonight it will be a fashionable accessory to match the outfit I plan to wear when I go out to dinner, and tomorrow I can use it to carry my groceries. I have a feeling that I’ll be discovering new uses for my Rachel Ombre Tote by Pixiemood for a long time to come!
