It’s always tempting to splurge on something especially if you’re a mom who always tries to rationalize things: Do I need this? Do I need this?! Sounds like a powerful line from “Confessions of a Shopaholic”?
But when I rationalize things, I don’t just worry about the price. I look at the quality of the products I’d like to buy, and the cost of looking for that product. With cost, I mean the non-monetary aspects like time spent and other inconveniences just to get the goods I want.
For example, I badly want to get my kids new beddings for the season. I want the best ones that could last a lifetime, and I know that’s not cheap. And if I’d spend a whole day looking for the best yet most reasonably priced beds and beddings, it’s like I spent both too much time and too much money. My time is too precious for that! So I’d rather spend my money and save time with Groupon Goods!
What I love most about Groupon is the great deals I get for awesome products. Their prices are lower than store-bought items naturally because of the savings merchants get from selling online rather than in store. I’m very happy that these savings are passed on to frugal yet smart buyers like me. Every time I feel the urge to splurge to celebrate family milestones or simply to reward ourselves, Groupon is our go-to deal finder.
But don’t get me wrong, Groupon is not just for splurging! There are even a lot more deals to love for budget-conscious buyers like me again. I just call it splurging because I love the comfort of shopping from home while getting huge discounts all the time at Groupon.
