Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment Razor Reviews And the Winner of $50 Visa Gift Card

Early April we gave 25 of my readers to try out the new Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment razor and ask them to send me the reviews for winning $50 Visa gift card.

I was happy to receive a Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment razor from Natural Baby Goods (Natural Mama).

Here is my review in point form:

Pros

– four blades provided a very close shave

– no nicks

– skin felt soft after shaving

– love the built-in coconut milk and almond oil scent

– ease of use – no need for an additional shaving foam/soap makes it very convenient

– good solid handle/grip

– happy it came with an extra blade cartridge

Cons

– the only con I view is the bulkiness of the product, that is I would not travel with this razor as it is quite large

I really liked this razor. Looking at it on the shelf, I never thought I would like it, and never had the chance to try it until now. It is really easy to use, and I was surprised at how well it performed without any shave cream being used. I also find that it takes less time to shave my legs than before, which is a happy thing because it’s such an onerous task to begin with. It left my legs feeling soft and smooth. I really like this razor, and it will probably be the one I use from now on.

I’ve used the Schick Intuition razor a few times now, and I can say it does exactly what it’s supposed to. I got a close shave with minimal irritation, and the coconut milk and almond oil cartridge I tried smelled phenomenal! I usually lather with soap before shaving, and I appreciate the one-step shave I get with the Intuition razor. Thanks!

I finally got out the razor to use it the first time! 

I am very impressed that it is very light weight even though it does look bucky, lighter than a men’s. The handle is very ergonomic & comfortable to hold. 

I used it in the shower after the initial rinse of water. It doesn’t need a lot of water for the lather ‘melt’ smooth on each shave. (No more messy gel spreading on the legs) The bottom of the razor where attached to the handle is attached can be move back forth a bit so it adjusst to the curve of my calf and the kneecap (I was once shave off a piece of skin cause the regular razor as it was a solid piece). The smell is very pleasant. 

Though I felt the lather from the razor had left my legs dry as showering with regular soap. 

But with the no gel application & comfort to use, I will definitely buy for future use.

This is my review done in point form! 

1. Very ergonomically shaped and easy to hold on too. Having arthritis in my hands, this is really important to me 

2. Great scent, very relaxing 

3. Smooth shave, no nicks or cuts; the pivoting head was really innovative 

4. I wasn’t sure about the moisturizing claims but I have to admit that after shaving with the Schick razor, my skin was very soft and moisturized! I have really dry skin so this was impressive. 

5. Loved that the razor created its own lather; very convenient to have it an all in one product

I just tried out my new Schick razor and I love it! I love its yummy smell, ergonomic handle and the whole design of it.  It’s a real convenient time-saver since I don’t need to bother using gel. The flexible head of the razor gives a closer touch to the skin, but felt smooth the entire time with the moisture bar, then left the skin moisturized afterwards. I highly recommend it to my girl friends.

First I want to say thank you for giving me the chance to try out the razor. 

Positive 

It is easy to handle as it is nice and big to hold in your hand and easy to glide on your legs and armpits.

I like the fact that you can shave without adding soap to lather as it is on the top of the razor to have nice soft skin with every glide you go with. Your skin feels nice and soft on every glide and after your shower is done you feel smooth. Also I liked how the razor pivoted to go along my skin to have a great shave. 

Also I like that it comes with extra blades. 

Negative

I found that the suction did not hold on to my shower wall.

Not such a big deal as I have a spot to put the big razor 🙂

I had a chance to try out this Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment razor over the past Easter weekend when we stayed at a hotel for our out of town trip. 
 
When I opened the package, the smell of it is really good.  The scent is very natural and refreshing.  The size of this razor is bigger than those that I have used in the past and it could not fit in my regular travel pouch that I used to hold things such as cosmetic and skin care. 
 
I love the design of the pivot head of the razor so that it would follow my legs smoothly.  But apparently, the solid on the razor head seemed to run out fairly quickly though.  After shaving, my legs were pretty smootha nd I did not need to apply any shaving gel or cream which was a great thing especially when I travelled.  My skin felt really smooth and refreshing without any irritations or rashes. 
 
The package also comes with a little suction cup holder for the razor.  Since I brought it to the hotel, I did not use it but I think it is nice to have this little accessory to come with the razor so that at home, I can put it in my shower at a fixed place so that whenever I need to shave, I don’t have to go and get it before I enter the shower.

The first thing I noticed about the razor was its size. It’s much larger than my usual razor. It has a larger head surrounded by moisturizing bars of coconut milk and almond oil which smells wonderful. The handle is also much wider than my usual razor. I was pleased to see rubber grips on the razor to make it easy to hold onto while using in the shower. Despite the larger size of the razor, it fit comfortably in my hand. The razor had a skin moisturizing solid around the actual razor head which lathers up while shaving eliminating the need for soap or shave gel. The solid lathered really well and I was impressed at how smoothly the razor glided over my skin. I was a bit worried that due to this solid on the razor head I wouldn’t be able to get a close shave. I was surprized by how close of a shave I actually got. My legs feel soft and smooth and moisturized. I usually apply moisturizing lotion to my legs after shaving but didn’t feel the need to after using this razor. Overall, this razor is definitely worth a try and has earned a permanent place in my shower. The razor actually comes with a suction cup holder to hold the razor in the bathtub. This is a great feature so I’ll always be able to quickly locate my razor.

First I want to thank you for the free razor! much appreciated! I gave the razor to my girlfriend and she went nuts! she loves this product and never tried the one with “pure nourishment”. Helen used the razor and boy! does she feel soft and smooth! and I love the scent the razor has. Helen told me, it was easy to shave with this razor and she loves the idea of the razor holder! Helen is one happy customer! also she put on facebook page about the razor I have won for her! Helen always told me about this razor but we could not afford due to loss of jobs here in London, Ontario. Helen states ” i don’t care if we are poor, i’m not going back to the cheap pink razors, I would rather pay for a Schick and be more broke!” The razor you sent her reminded her of the great product you do have! and you now have a loyal customer!
