I usually rotate French toast in our routine breakfast about once a week. Usually quick fry for weekday morning. I’ve heard of baked French toast and thought I’d give a try but more simple version like my quick fry just a bit more liquid.
I’ve grown a custom to using raisin bread for French toast. In fact I buy raisin bread when on sale and just store in freezer to use 4 slices a week. When using frozen no need to thaw, soaks up fine frozen.
I even used the toaster oven for this but be careful can be closer to heat and brown to quick.
