Recently I received a Spider-Man Web Creator Lab from Uncle Milton’s Toys.
My kids were literally over the moon, Christmas came early to our house this year. We all went for the fancy box, and in no time the three of us were kneeling down to unwrap it. The box was written in small letters “six years and up, no batteries required and adult assistant recommended” but it actually looked harmless with no small objects.
Inside the box we found:

- 2 sets of Web Molds
- 1 Beaker
- 1 Web Injector
- 1 Web Extractor
- 2 packets of Red, Sticky Web Material
- 2 packets of Blue, Stretchy Web Material
- 1 Instruction Manual/Educational Poster
While still on the floor, we managed to plan our spider creation. Directions were simple and straight forward. The kit inside the box had everything except water of cause. There were few somewhat different molds to make either flat webs or three dimensional web balls. We had a press to make mold, some sticky stuff in red or blue to create the webs, an injector for the web fluid, a small red spatula to scrape the web free from the mold and finally the test tube to do measuring.
Then there is the sticky stuff, the goo that helps to make webs. The sticky stuff is then added into an injector, then open the frame, lock and place the chosen mold in the circle and close the frame . Then place the injector into the small opening and open the bag that has the goo in it. Pour hot tap water up to the line and place the goo back in and prepare it, then wait for it to melt.
Once melted, pour the melted goo into the injector and push it down. The frame lock of the mold is made to be super tight opening it is a mission and a half. It needs to be snapped into place, and it’s hard to push down on. All it takes for the web fluid to solidify is 30 minutes.
This turned out to be the best day ever. Little man could mold that goo into anything he wanted. My daughter , she was the one who was choosing designs and at the same time behaving like little mother hen, making sure that nothing went into his brother’s mouth. All in all Uncle Milton entertained us again. His toys are both educational for the whole family and fun at the same time.
