Whether you enjoy pumpkins as food or decoration, October is the month to celebrate this orange treat. With this in mind, Pumpkinfest returns to Downsview Park (35 Carl Hall Road) this Thanksgiving weekend, October 7th to 9th, 2017. This much anticipated, outdoor event has free parking and is easy to reach by TTC.
Orange or white, big or small, round or pleasantly misshaped, families enjoy patiently searching through the pumpkin patch for that special pumpkin. Pumpkinfest brings the country to the city with pumpkin bowling, the pumpkin patch, pony rides and the President’s Choice Superdog show.
Other features of PumpkinFest Toronto include: the Food Truck Frenzy with Toronto’s best food trucks; contests including pumpkin carving, pie-eating, costume and Little Miss PumpkinFest; face painting; inflatables, rides and games in the kiddie midway; the Pumpkin Express train; arts and crafts with Crafting for a Cure; an array of stage shows; a baked goods sale; vendors; and extreme sports.
PumpkinFest Toronto is the third annual event of its kind running outdoors at Downsview Park, October 7th to 9th, 2017. It is organized by Superior Events Group, a North American leader in interactive amusement and organizers of several Toronto events, including two of Toronto’s largest and most popular Family Day events.
Hours: Saturday, October 7th to Monday, October 9th – 10am-6pm.
