Urban Babies Wear Black Board Book Review And Giveaway

Urban living is a way of life of many individuals that is filled with fast paced activities from day to day. The book entitled Urban Babies Wear Black is written by Michelle Sinclair Colman, a mother of two children living in big cities for quite some time. The inspiration of the baby book came after the birth of the first child of Michelle Sinclair Colman because her family life in Chicago, then in New York were filled with fun yet challenging aspects of parenting. In addition to Urban Babies Wear Black, the author later on added more board books in her collection of appealing reading materials for young children and their parents including Foodie Babies Wear Bibs, Rocker Babies Wear Jeans, Eco-Babies Wear Green, and Jet-Set Babies Wear Wings, just to name a few. The book contains twenty pages filled with colorful and lively illustrations by Nathalie Dion.

In this book, babies and young children are defined as infantus urbanus, young mamals raised in the city environment. It brings cute and familiar illustrations of what urban living is like for these children letting the readers appreciate and connect their own lives to the story. Normal activities in the life of children in the urban setting were described in the book as the nights at the opera, appreciating modern architecture, and indulging in fine cuisine. The babies clad in black enjoy plenty of activities that the city life brings with colorful and bright sights everywhere they go.

Urban Babies Wear Black book makes great gifts for parents and their babies who dwells in the city. It is a suitable reading material for toddlers and preschool children with its attractive illustrations and lively descriptions. Other than city dwelling parents and children, this book will also be appreciated by children and parents living in the rural areas giving them a great idea of how city life is like.
