In my previous review of Frog Wooden Book from Chelona, we know that wood has natural antibacterial properties. Since my daughter turned to one year old, she is more and more active. I keep looking for some eco-friendly toys for her and want her to learn things during playing. One day I found this website http://www.finewoodentoys.com/, there are tons of wooden toys and puzzles as well. She loves those lift-out puzzles. With jumbo knobs, she can easily grasp it and the colorful wooden piece is also easy to match the full-color illustrations underneath. She knows she should match them but the skill not mature yet. She likes to learn new things and this wooden puzzle keeps her busy for a while and I can take a rest to read some newspaper. 🙂
She also likes vehicle toys. This website has all the kinds of wooden vehicles you can think of. One of the important things is that it’s colored with non-toxic, child safe dyes. I also don’t need to worry about that some small metal piece fell off that my daughter might eat. Because I heard of the scary story that a little boy sucked a very small piece into his nose from those metal toy cars. I am careful of choosing the safe toys for my daughter now.
